Spatial Distribution Pattern and Influencing Factors of Homestays in Chongqing, China

As an emerging business form of tourism development, homestays also play important role in China’s rural revitalization and transformation upgrading, has attracted increasing social attention. At present, Chongqing is the city with largest number China. Taking as a case-study area, based on homestay data Baidu map, this paper comprehensively uses methods spatial analysis, multiple regression geographical weighted to thoroughly analyze regional characteristics influencing factors distribution Chongqing. The results show that: (1) nearest-neighbor index R distributions all regions one, which shows obvious agglomeration type. (2) In addition being highly concentrated central urban three secondary high-density areas are formed surrounding there trend concentration contiguity. densities two agglomerations Southeast Northeast very low, overall extremely uneven. (3) factors, such resource endowment, economic service industry traffic location, consumption demand development conditions, have significant impacts pattern homestays, each factor layout heterogeneity. Analyzing revealing temporal dynamic mechanism theoretical value practical significance for better serving new urbanization plan implementing strategy urban–rural integration revitalization.
